For anything about your data — a copy of it, a correction, deleting it — write to privacy@withsarah.app and it goes straight to the right place.
Something happened on a date, or someone is worrying you
This is the fastest route. Use it before anything else.
- In the app: open the introduction or the date → Report. Pick a reason, tell us what happened.
- By email: support@withsarah.app — put URGENT in the subject if it’s about someone’s immediate safety. We read those first, ahead of everything.
- If you are in immediate danger in Spain, call 112. Call them first, tell us after.
What happens next: we acknowledge safety reports within [SAFETY SLA]. We may suspend the other account while we investigate. You’ll be told the outcome. You will never be put in touch with someone you’ve reported, and you don’t have to explain yourself to them.
Want no further contact with someone? There is no block button in the app yet. Report them using the route above and say so in the description — we act on it by hand. Either way, you are never introduced to the same person twice: once an introduction has happened, that person is ruled out of your future matches for good. [BLOCK CONTROL — build it, then rewrite this paragraph]
No-show? Report it in the app on the date screen. Before we move any money we need corroboration — the other person accepting it, or the restaurant confirming that the table went unused. The Terms explain why.
Delete your account
Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account, then confirm.
That’s it. No email, no phone call, no talking you out of it.
It is a deletion, not a deactivation. It removes your profile, your photos, your verification selfie, your call transcripts, everything Sarah worked out about you, your introductions, bookings and feedback. It happens immediately.
Two things it doesn’t reach, and we’d rather say so than let you assume:
- Payment records at Stripe, which we’re required to keep for accounting.
- Any signup you made on withsarah.app before installing the app — that record has no account attached to it, so email privacy@withsarah.app and we’ll delete it.

Your data
| What you want | How |
|---|---|
| A copy of everything | In the app: Settings → Privacy → Export My Data. It doesn’t yet include everything we hold — for the complete set, write to privacy@withsarah.app and we’ll send it within one month. |
| “Sarah thinks I’m Catholic and I’m not” | Write to privacy@withsarah.app. Tell us what she got wrong. We correct it or delete it, and it stops affecting your matches. There’s no self-service screen for this yet. |
| Correct anything else she inferred | Same address — personality, values, faith, anything. |
| Withdraw consent to the faith or face-verification processing | Write to privacy@withsarah.app. Faith: it’s removed from your matching and you keep being matched. Face verification: we can’t verify you, so we can’t introduce you. |
| Ask a person to review a match decision | Write to support@withsarah.app. You can tell us why you disagree, and we’ll look again. |
| Pause without deleting | Settings → Privacy — the switch at the top pauses introductions. It reads Introductions paused once it is off. |
| Delete a signup you made on this website | Write to privacy@withsarah.app from the address you signed up with. There is no account to delete it from, so email is the route. |
The €20 and the booking
- What it’s for: reserving a real table at a real restaurant, for the two of you. Not your food or drinks — you pay for those at the restaurant.
- Who’s charged: the man’s card. It’s how we run dates; see the Terms.
- Changing the time: in the app, on the date screen, as early as you can.
- Cancelling: in the app. Cancel more than two hours ahead. Under two hours counts as a no-show.
- The restaurant cancelled: we rebook you. If we can’t find a time you’re happy with, you get the €20 back.
- Your date didn’t turn up: report it. A refund follows once it’s confirmed.
- 14-day withdrawal right: yes, you have one — with an exception when you’ve asked us to book immediately. It’s set out properly, with the form, in the Terms.
Trouble with a call
Sarah didn’t hear me / kept talking over me. Somewhere quiet, headphones if you have them. If it keeps happening, tell us roughly when the call was and we’ll look at it.
The call dropped. Reopen the app and start again — she’ll pick up roughly where you left off.
Can I talk to her again? Yes. From the home screen.
How long until I get an introduction? It depends on who else is around you. Sarah won’t hand you someone just to have something to show you — waiting means she hasn’t found the right person yet, not that she’s forgotten you.
Can I see who else is on there? No. There’s no feed, no search, no profiles to browse. That’s the whole point.
Is Sarah a real person?
No. Sarah is an AI. Her voice is generated by software. There is no person on the line.
What you say is recorded and transcribed, and analysed by AI systems — some of them run by companies in the United States. From that conversation she works out things you didn’t say outright, including what she thinks your religion is and how much it matters to you. She may get that wrong; the table above tells you how to fix it.
One thing that is human: a member of our team looks at every introduction before it reaches you.

Safety when you meet someone
We check your phone number, and we check that the face in your selfie is the face in your photos. We do not run criminal background checks on anyone, and we don’t verify anyone’s job, income or relationship status.
So: meet at the restaurant we booked, tell a friend where you’re going, keep your own way home, don’t send anyone money, and leave the moment it feels off. Nobody is owed an explanation. Leaving a date that felt wrong is never held against you — just tell us.
We’re not in your city yet
Sarah is in Madrid only for now. You can ask for your city on the home page.
How the city board works, and why: the ranking is always public — you can always see which cities are most wanted. The numbers, and your own position, only appear once a city passes 1,000 requests.
That’s a deliberate rule with one purpose: below the threshold, showing a number would tell everyone that a city has six people in it. It would be an accurate number and a useless, discouraging one. So we show ranks always and numbers only when they mean something. We’d rather publish the rule than have you wonder what we’re hiding.
Asking for a city stores your email, the city, your age and your gender. If you’d rather we didn’t keep it, write to privacy@withsarah.app and we delete it — section 17 of the Privacy Policy explains exactly what that record is.
